Nereva’s Nice subsidiary secures the Innovation Tax Credit to industrialize EVA, its artificial intelligence dedicated to construction transport orchestration

Nereva announces that its subsidiary, Nereva France, has been granted the French Innovation Tax Credit (Crédit d’Impôt Innovation – CII) in recognition of its research and development work dedicated to EVA, its artificial intelligence designed to manage and orchestrate construction transport operations. This public support contributes to the industrialization of a technology built to structure, analyze, and optimize in real time the flows of skips, waste, materials, and aggregates transported by truck across the construction value chain.

Construction logistics: still highly fragmented

Despite their central role in project execution, transport flows on construction sites remain largely managed through heterogeneous processes and weakly interconnected tools. Rotation planning, truck allocation, execution tracking, and flow traceability frequently rely on phone calls, spreadsheets, or partial systems that do not accurately reflect operational reality. This fragmentation generates structural inefficiencies: empty runs, incomplete rotations, waiting times, misalignment between construction sites, carriers, and disposal facilities, additional logistics costs, and avoidable CO₂ emissions. These challenges affect operations of all sizes, regardless of their regulatory complexity.

EVA: an algorithmic control tower for transport flows

Developed by Nereva France, EVA operates as an operational control tower dedicated to construction transport. It continuously centralizes and structures data related to truck movements between construction sites, intermediate platforms, and disposal or recovery facilities. The artificial intelligence qualifies each rotation at a granular level: identification of skip configurations, truck types mobilized, and associated carriers; correlation between available fleet capacity and operational demand; estimation of load factors; classification of transported waste, materials, and aggregates to direct each flow toward the appropriate treatment channel. This structuring transforms historically under-formalized operations into a coherent, traceable, and actionable logistics information system. EVA provides continuous visibility over the actual execution of transport operations, from pickup through to final destination.

Predictive planning and progressive automation

Based on the collected data, EVA implements algorithmic planning and decision-support mechanisms. The objective is to progressively automate truck allocation, dynamically adjust schedules in response to on-site contingencies, and optimize rotations at the construction-site level. Reducing manual interventions, increasing the reliability of execution data, and improving coordination between operational teams and logistics partners are direct outcomes of this approach.

By optimizing the use of transport resources, EVA contributes to improving overall site performance. Reducing unnecessary trips and optimizing rotations supports lower CO₂ emissions associated with logistics activities.
