An application designed for the operational reality of the cab

Nereva deploys Nereva Transports, a mobile application available on iOS and Android, dedicated to the drivers of transport companies. Designed for use in real conditions, directly in the cab, it favours efficiency, clarity and speed of execution, including in demanding operational environments. The application centralises all missions and the information needed to carry them out, in order to secure each stage of the transport.

Continuity between operations and the field

The application is fully connected to the logistician’s back office. Missions planned by operations are synchronised in real time with the driver’s smartphone. Any change, whether a time adjustment, a rescheduling or a cancellation, is visible in the application as soon as the phone is connected. This synchronisation avoids manual re-entry and breaks in information between planning and execution.

Dynamic, forward-looking visibility of missions

Drivers have a complete view of their activity: missions in progress, upcoming missions and planned slots. The schedule is updated at each synchronisation, with up-to-date information as soon as the phone is connected. This visibility makes it possible to anticipate, organise and adapt activity according to the decisions taken by the logistician. Information becomes a tool for efficiency, not a constraint.

Direct access to contacts and intervention areas

For each mission, the application provides the exact address of the site, warehouse or sorting centre, as well as the remarks left by the site. Drivers know where to go and can call their company from the mission. This precision helps reduce waiting times, limit unnecessary exchanges and smooth arrival on site.

An integrated heavy-vehicle GPS adapted to real constraints

The application integrates heavy-vehicle navigation based on HERE mapping and route calculation. The route is calculated for the truck, taking traffic and congestion into account, and guidance starts from the mission, without entering an address. Navigation becomes a lever for performance and safety.

Automatic position transmission and step-by-step traceability

The truck’s position is transmitted via the application during the mission, without installing any additional equipment. Drivers can also document operations by taking photos and updating mission statuses. All data is synchronised with the logistician’s back office, which has usable traceability of the missions. Field data feeds management directly.

An operational extension of the Nereva platform

The driver mobile application is a natural extension of the Nereva platform. It links operations, transport and site in a single real-time information flow. By aligning planning, execution and traceability, Nereva turns the cab into a genuine point of operational orchestration, serving the overall performance of the logistics chain.
