The role in detail

What we build

A platform that connects construction sites and carriers

On a construction site, trucks and skips are ordered quickly and rescheduled often. Nereva puts the request, the planning, the execution and the proofs on one shared piece of information, between the construction company and its carrier.

Two environments, one product

On the transport side, the Transport back office and the Nereva Transports driver app. On the site side, the Construction back office and the Nereva Commandes app. When both companies are on Nereva, their flows are synchronised.

Our mission

A backend close to the field

Requests, missions, documents, notifications: the backend orchestrates asynchronous flows and events between independent companies, with PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis. What you ship shows up in a dispatcher’s planning and in a driver’s day.

Transport features

A 100% remote team

Lead backend, developers, Product Manager and CEO work remotely, in an agile environment, in direct contact with the product. Technical choices are discussed in code review and with the product.

    Backend features in TypeScript / NestJS, in a microservices architecture.

  • Ship

    Regularly, in an agile environment, with the team.

  • Review

    The team’s code in code review, and have yours reviewed.

  • Support

    The services you ship, when an issue comes up from the field or the team.

  • Follow up

    How the services behave after each release to production.

  • Work with the product

    Understand the need with the Product Manager and refine it before building.

  • SQL and PostgreSQL, with or without ORM (TypeORM or equivalent)
