The starting point: site logistics under pressure

On construction sites, transport logistics still relies largely on fragmented, poorly equipped organisations that depend heavily on informal exchanges. Site managers, drivers, dispatchers and administrative teams spend a considerable amount of time handling calls, follow-ups, schedule adjustments and emergencies, often without reliable traceability or real-time visibility. This lack of unified coordination turns daily operations into a succession of desynchronisations. It slows execution, generates unnecessary friction, weakens field teams and makes any dynamic management of logistics flows particularly complex.

Two complementary areas of expertise, one shared vision

Nereva was born from the meeting of two worlds. Philippe Flaccavento, an entrepreneur from the construction sector, and his brother Sébastien Flaccavento, a technology entrepreneur, combined their expertise around a shared observation: site logistics lacked a structuring tool, designed both for the realities of the field and for the overall management of operations. As co-founders and board members of Nereva SA, they carry a governance aligned with this vision, aiming for strategic independence, consistent decisions and long-term construction.

The revealing case: the waste skip

The transport of waste skips is an emblematic illustration of the dysfunctions of site logistics: non-standardised orders, no visibility of arrival or pick-up times, disoriented drivers, field teams immobilised for lack of reliable information. These frictions, repeated daily and on a large scale, generate delays, additional costs and often underestimated productivity losses. By digitising the entire process, Nereva gives every player back a clear view of its operations. Whether skips, materials, raw materials or machinery, every transport is planned, traced and documented.

A platform designed for the field and for management

Nereva is based on a complete digital ecosystem combining mobile applications for site teams and drivers, and web back offices for transport and construction companies. The platform synchronises requests and planning between connected companies; the operators keep the decision.

The platform’s core synchronises schedules between connected companies and aggregates data; dispatch assigns resources, and the detection of the day’s tensions belongs to EVA, under development. It provides operational visibility of ongoing missions and coordination between connected players, in an environment designed specifically for the construction sector.

EVA, the anticipation engine Nereva is developing

EVA, Engine for Virtual Anticipation, is the anticipation engine Nereva is developing; no EVA function is in production and no date is announced. It was designed to assist teams in understanding, anticipating and optimising logistics flows, without ever replacing human decision-making. The functions under development, designed as proposals submitted to the operators, concern planning proposals, the detection of the day’s tensions and the recognition of waste on mission photos. They will rely on anonymised and aggregated data, within the framework of Nereva’s AI and data policy. EVA is part of a pragmatic approach to artificial intelligence: learning from reality, supporting users in their decisions and strengthening operational performance without complicating usage.

An open, independent and neutral solution

Nereva is an independent software platform. It imposes no provider, no closed network and no commercial conditions. Clients keep full control of their partners, their contractual relationships, their rates and their processes. Marketed in the form of user licences, the solution never intervenes in commercial matchmaking, contracts or negotiations. It positions itself as a neutral tool intended to structure, manage and secure existing logistics flows.

Quality, Safety, Environment: a built-in requirement

Transport logistics on construction sites is subject to growing requirements in terms of quality, safety and environmental performance. These requirements rely in particular on complete, reliable traceability of raw materials, materials and waste, from the loading point to the destination or treatment site. Nereva integrates these issues at the heart of its design. The platform makes it possible to structure and document flows in real time, providing visibility of volumes, destinations, the players involved and operational events. This traceability, available today, contributes to QSE requirements; the anticipation of rotations by EVA belongs to the development in progress.

A clear trajectory, an international ambition

From the outset, Nereva was designed for international deployment. After several years of structuring and scaling up, the company reached a key milestone in 2024 with the opening of its first subsidiary in France, in Nice, at the heart of its European ambitions. Driven by a committed team, technology that is the subject of patent filings, and a governance that is aligned and clear-sighted about the challenges of the sector, Nereva intends to become a reference in the orchestration of smooth, reliable and fully connected transport flows.
