The Nice subsidiary obtains the Innovation Tax Credit to industrialise EVA, its artificial intelligence dedicated to orchestrating site transport
Nereva announces that its subsidiary Nereva France benefits from the Innovation Tax Credit (CII) for its research and development work devoted to EVA, its artificial intelligence dedicated to managing construction-site transport. This public support accompanies the industrialisation of a technology designed to structure, analyse and optimise in real time the flows of skips, waste, raw materials and materials transported by truck in the construction and civil engineering sector.
Site logistics still fragmented
Despite their central role in the execution of sites, transport flows remain largely managed through heterogeneous processes and poorly interconnected tools. Rotation planning, truck assignment, execution monitoring and flow traceability still frequently rely on phone calls, spreadsheets or partial systems that do not faithfully reflect operational reality.
This fragmentation generates structural inefficiencies: empty runs, incomplete rotations, waiting times, desynchronisation between site, carriers and outlets, additional logistics costs and avoidable CO₂ emissions. These issues concern all operations, whatever their size or regulatory complexity.
EVA: an algorithmic control tower for flows
Developed by Nereva France, EVA acts as an operational control tower dedicated to site transport. It continuously centralises and structures data relating to truck movements between sites, intermediate platforms and outlet facilities. The artificial intelligence qualifies each rotation at a fine level: identification of skip configurations, of the types of trucks mobilised and of the associated carriers, correlation between available fleet and operational needs, estimation of fill rates, classification of the waste, raw materials and materials transported in order to direct each flow to the appropriate channel. This structuring transforms historically informal operations into a coherent, traceable and usable logistics information system. EVA thus provides continuous visibility of the actual execution of transport, from collection to final destination.
Predictive planning and progressive automation
From the data collected, EVA implements algorithmic planning and decision-support mechanisms. The objective is to progressively automate truck assignment, dynamically adjust schedules according to field contingencies and optimise rotations at site level. Fewer manual interventions, more reliable execution data and improved coordination between operational teams and logistics partners are direct effects of this approach.
Operational performance and environmental transition
By optimising the use of transport resources, EVA helps improve the overall performance of sites. Reducing unnecessary journeys and optimising rotations contribute to lowering CO₂ emissions linked to logistics activities. Structured flow traceability is also a digital foundation for meeting growing regulatory requirements on waste tracking and materials recovery, by ensuring reliable and complete documentation of movements.
Public support to accelerate maturity
Obtaining the Innovation Tax Credit recognises the innovative nature of the work undertaken by Nereva France and supports the industrialisation phase of EVA. This scheme makes it possible to intensify research and development efforts, strengthen algorithmic models and accelerate the roll-out of new features adapted to the operational and regulatory constraints of the different markets.
Statement by Philippe Flaccavento, co-founder of Nereva
Site transport linked to waste, raw materials, materials and skips is still insufficiently structured and synchronised today. The lack of visibility of actual execution generates significant friction and limits the optimisation of operations. EVA was designed to turn these flows into a system driven by data and algorithms. The Innovation Tax Credit allows us to accelerate the industrialisation of this technology and strengthen its analysis and decision capabilities, in the service of more reliable, more efficient and more sustainable site logistics.
About Nereva
Nereva is a licensed SaaS platform for construction and transport companies. It makes it possible to synchronise, plan, order and monitor in real time the transport of skips, waste, raw materials and materials. The platform digitally structures the site logistics chain to improve visibility, traceability and operational performance, without intervening in the commercial relationships between players.
